PMA Completes its 5th Annual NetPoint and GPM Conference

Detroit, MI ()

NetPoint Conference

Yet again, PMA Technologies started the year with a bang hosting its 5th Annual NetPoint and GPM User Conference in San Diego, CA, on January 13-14, 2015, at the Marriott Marquis and Marina. Familiar and prospective NetPoint users from all around the country gathered to share knowledge on the planning and scheduling software founded by Dr. Gui Ponce de Leon, PE, PMP, LEED AP.

Since its commercial release in 2008, NetPoint has been an invaluable tool to a breadth of leaders in the project controls sector. Since that time, the conference was organized as a means of connecting with clients to communicate the software’s benefits and ever-improving features.

This year’s program began with a Tuesday morning training hosted by Tim Mather, PMP, of PMA Technologies. The day continued with an informative presentation by PMA’s Francisco Cruz and Dane McBaine on the NetRisk module within NetPoint; the day’s program concluded with a reception on the scenic hotel rooftop overlooking the San Diego Marina.

Wednesday’s agenda included a keynote presentation by Dr. Gui who shared his Power to the Stakeholders vision, an assortment of case study presentations, as well as a technical session that previewed the upcoming software version, NetPoint 5. Talented speakers included Luis Terry, PMP, of CAPE Inc.; Mike Brown of Jacobs; and PMA leaders Seve Ponce de Leon, Sergio Ponce de Leon, Shannon Katt, Tim Mather, PMP, and Noel Alvarez, PMP, LEED AP. The conference presentations are available for download from our publications page.
