NetPoint currently only supports exporting to MS Project 2003 or 2007. NetPoint will export activity ID’s, descriptions, dates, durations and predecessor/successor logic. Macro settings must be set to medium/low or disabled to successfully transfer to and MS Project. See Macro Security Certificate.
Exporting
To export to MS Project, click from the menu bar. The MS Project Export Options window will open.

Constraint Behavior
Must Start On (MSO) forces a fixed start date for each activity. This guarantees that the activities in MS Project will start on the same dates that were shown in the NetPoint schedule. In effect, this maintains the network as scheduled using GPM.
As Early As Possible (ASAP) pulls each activity to its earliest possible start date consistent with logic ties and without affecting the start of the schedule. In effect, this adjusts the network as scheduled using GPM to fall on CPM early dates.
As Late As Possible (ALSP) pushes each activity to its latest possible finish date consistent with logic ties and without affecting the completion of the schedule. In effect, this adjusts the network as scheduled using GPM to fall on CPM late dates.
NetPoint Style Task Bar
If checked, task bars include end nodes to represent start and finish dates. Otherwise, the task is only represented by a rectangle.
Show Descriptions on Gantt Chart
If checked, task bars include their descriptions on the Gantt chart. Otherwise, descriptions only show up in the table to the left.
Create Baseline
If checked, an MS Project baseline is created from the imported schedule. This retains a record of all the values imported even after the schedule is modified.
When finished, click Export. The schedule will open in MS Project but is not automatically saved.
