Other Drawing Tools

In addition to shades, other drawing tools such as arrows, circles, lines, and brackets can be used to add extra information to the canvas. These are considered non-planning objects as they do not contribute to the logic of the network.

Adding Shapes

Click the down arrow button next to the Shapes icon to open a menu of other drawing tools.

To place a shape, click the mouse button at the desired start date, indicated by the text above the crosshairs and release the mouse. These rudimentary shapes are not actually drawn and do not yet have any properties.

Modifying Shapes

To resize a shape, select it on the canvas. Black grab boxes appear all around the object. Hovering over any of them with the Select Tool will change the cursor to a double arrow, which allows the box to be dragged in either the x or y direction.

By default, a shape will be resized proportionally, but this can be turned off by right-clicking and unchecking Preserve Aspect Ratio While Resizing.
